The Audio Visual Company has a history of installing room AV systems in Hawaii and the Pacific. On these pages are examples of the different types of room installations that we have done. Some of the categories are:
- Executive Boardrooms
- Presentation Rooms
- Conference Rooms
- Training Rooms & Classrooms
- Auditoriums
In addition to these typical rooms, AVCO also designs and installs special purpose rooms:
- Telepresence Suite
- Command Briefing Facilities
- Command & Control Rooms
- Emergency Operations Centers
- Security Operations Centers
Please browse through these installations and see which type of room best fits your needs. If you have questions about the room, the technology utilized, or just need some assistance in designing a room for your organization, give Barry Sato a call at (808) 485-3246 or e-mail him at bsato@theavco.net.

The Volcano Room is a classified conferencing facility located at the Makalapa complex which houses the US Pacific Fleet Command and Briefing Center. The Volcano room is utilized during Rim of the Pacific as the Command Center for the operations over several months. US military staff Pacific coalition forces make full use of the facility where participants need to access unclassified and classified networks through floor jacks. Video teleconference capabilities are also utilized to communicate with other command elements and displayed on the large screen displays. "The command, control and communications resources that have been built into the Volcano Room are truly foresighted and stand as a tribute to the forward-thinking actions of Navy Region Hawaii.” One of the key capabilities of the Volcano Room is its large screen display consisting of dual rear screen projection systems. The one large display is 24’ long by 9’ high and can display a large amount of graphic, data, and video information. Adjacent to this large screen is another large single screen display so that information can be repeated in that room or separate operations to be conducted simultaneously.
